Woohoo, some of our photos are featured in a Finnish guinea pig book: Marsu voi hyvin by Arja Linnavuori. This is so exciting!Navigation/Content
Due to the fact that the site structure has changed, subsequently, the navigation also changed. You will find four main themes.
- Information - Here you'll find everything that would fall under guinea pig information: Some health tips, maintenance, feeding, behavior, and some more general stuff. Some parts are still missing.
- Miscellaneous - Here you find things that are still considered to be informational but don't fall under the categories mentioned above. Miscellaneous topics are: Links to other great guinea pig sites, books about guinea pigs, some info about the technical aspects of this site, and the unavoidable ;-) 'about me' page.
- My Pigs - Here you find the pages about my own pigs. Every pig has it's own page and on the start page you can find frequent updates on what's going on with them.
- Photo Gallery - Like the name implies, here you find the cavy photo gallery.
- The links to the main topics can always be found in the header of each page and also on the left hand side.
- The site has a new URL: en.knoeddelmeister.com
Layout/Structure
- The layout is now completely controlled by style sheets. This means that this site might look not as great or at least different with older browsers. Older browsers will have some problems recognizing style sheets. However, the site will be completely usable no matter what type of browser you might want to use. It will look as intended with the following browsers: IE 5+, NS6+, Mozilla, Opera 5+, Konqueror 3, and Galeon. I tested on Windows and Linux. Netscape 4.x has issues with style sheets.
