Name: Celine
Breed: Guinea pig (cavia porcellus), short hair
Color: black self
Eyes: black
Gender: female
Age: March 1999 - Nov 2, 2001
Favorite Food: Cucumber, salad, all the other available stuff
Character: a little fearful, curious, friendly, affectionate (but she doesn't like to be on the arm)
Likes: Taking a nap after eating
Dislikes: Pedicure, being caught
Celine was the most anxious guinea pig I ever had. But I
can to say, that living with three other pigs was very good for her. She
became more outgoing, and she actually was a good leader of the group.
Celine had great social manners. She always accepted new pigs (with one exception) very well. She showed them she is the boss, and that was about it. No long fights or anything else like that. How did she do that? Well she moved with her back legs from one side to the other and clicked with her teeth.
Celine liked attention, but please only on the floor, not on the arm. This was too high and too scary! She really didn't like to be caught (but which pig really enjooys that part anyway). When I wanted to catch her she became became very creative in finding ways to escape :-). In the end, I always got her...
Very sadly, she went off to Rainbowland on Nov 2nd, 2001. I always thought she'd be one of the piggers that will become very old.
